Who We Are

Hi! Thank you for checking out our website. I’m Michelle, the owner of Kind Claws and I’d like to tell you a little bit about my background, my current passions, and what brought Kind Claws to life.

I started out my career by going to Veterinary Technician school and graduating in 2009. Since graduating I have worked in a number of different environments. First, I spent ten years working in a General Practice. Outside of the General Practice, I have worked in a Veterinary Dental Specialty Clinic as well as an Exotic Practice. In my time working for these clinics, I definitely saw a wide variety of cases and it was never boring to say the least. After working in a clinic setting, I expanded my expertise by working five years in a veterinary industry sales role, including pharmaceutical sales.

I created Kind Claws with the intention of compassionately helping pets in their own homes, where they’re more comfortable and confident. I truly want your pets to approach their nail trims and other services with ease, and we will work as a team to get them there.

Something that plays a huge role in how I operate is my Fear Free Certification. It is of utmost importance that your pets are happy during every step, and we work hard to make sure that they don’t feel that what we’re doing is scary. I have spent a lot of time learning how to do things in a way that ensures confidence and peace in your pets making stressful nail trims a thing of the past.

I am also CPR Certified for pets and Feline Friendly Certified with the American Association of Feline Practitioners.

When I’m not out taking care of your babies, I’m at home with my two fur babies, Kiki and Bronson. My dogs are my world and I love them dearly!

I have felt so lucky to help so many pets during my time as a Veterinary Technician and since I created Kind Claws. I can’t wait to meet more new faces and make a difference in each life that I touch.
